SW London CAMRA Pub of the Year 2019

Page Last Updated: Tue 31 Dec 2019 18:20

There are six pubs in contention for the CAMRA South West London Pub of the Year for 2019.

In postcode order they are:

All current CAMRA South West London branch members are eligible to vote.

What to consider before voting

All voters are asked to bear in mind the criteria that CAMRA believes make a really great pub. First and foremost, the real ales (and any real ciders or perries) must be in consistently good condition. But that’s not all: we also look for a pub that provides a high standard of service to all its customers and is a genuine centre of the local community where nobody feels unwelcome or excluded. Other aspects to consider are the pub’s style, décor and cleanliness and whether it is in tune with CAMRA aims. Is this a pub that sells at least one locally brewed ale, provides information about the beers on sale (including price), and serves you a full measure to the brim (or marked line) of your glass?

The branch Pub of the Year is awarded a certificate and automatically goes forward to CAMRA's shortlist for Greater London Pub of the Year. The winner of that award goes on to a 'super-regional' competition and, if successful again, would be on the shortlist for CAMRA national Pub of the Year.

The poll closes at 23:59 on Sunday 9th February 2020 which allows plenty of time to try any of the pubs you are not familliar with or that you have not visited for a while.
